Pirates Ahoy!

The Vigilance team were delighted that they once again had a boat to show off during Brixham’s famous Pirate Festival over May Bank Holiday weekend.

Last year they had to make do with showing a (rather splendid) model of the boat – but this year visitors could actually get aboard and hear about the rebuild and our plan for the future. Several visitors expressed an in interest in getting involved in crewing and maintenance jobs.

Our Treasure Hunt game on the quay again proved a big hit with the children whose contribution to Vigilance funds were rewarded with either Pirate Treasure or buttons.
